BIL Students Achieve Remarkable Success at the Zhautykov International Olympiad

From January 8th to 13th, 2024, at the 20th International Zhautykov Olympiad in Almaty, students from the Bilim-Innovation Lyceums (BIL) delivered exceptional performances in mathematics, computer science, and physics. In mathematics, they secured 1 gold, 9 silver, and 8 bronze medals. Their achievements in computer science included 2 gold, 6 silver, and 9 bronze medals, while in physics they earned 1 gold, 1 silver, and 8 bronze medals.

Remarkably, Bilim-Innovation students contributed significantly to Kazakhstan’s medal tally, winning 5 of the 10 gold medals awarded. They also garnered 16 silver and 25 bronze medals.

This year’s Olympiad saw participation from over 650 schoolchildren representing 15 countries.

Out of the 58 participants from BILs, an impressive 46 students won awards, accounting for 79 per cent of the BIL’s participants.
