On November the 2nd and the 3rd, in NURORDA lyceum in Astana the national futsal tournament was held among the students of educational institutions under International Public Funds BILIM-INNOVATION and BILIM ORDA with the support of the Football Federation of Kazakhstan.
National futsal tournament has been held for the sixth time. There were about 250 students from 27 teams. The teams consisted of grade 7 & 8 students of IEF BILIM-INNOVATION educational institutions and of schools with whom IEF BILIM-INNOVATION signed a memorandum.
Serik SARSENBEKOV, the Deputy Director of Mass Football Department under the Football Federation of Kazakhstan, Darkhan OTE, the President of IEF Bilim-Innovation and Darhanbek KOZHABEKOV, the President of IEF Bilim Orda attended the opening ceremony and wished the students good luck.
On the first day, the matches were very intriguing and exciting, the fans were very supportive. As a result, the teams from Astana, Aktau, Atyrau, Kostanai, Almaty and NURORDA lyceums won the quarter-final beating their rivals in their group age.
In the final, Atyrau team beat their opponents from Almaty and took the third place. The contest for the participation in the futsal in England was held between Astana and Aktau lyceums. Astana beat with a score of 6:1.
Kolomiytsev Tanat was awarded the title of The Best Striker of the match for his constant attacks and high scores that he brought to his team.
Bauyrzhanuly Aibek was awarded the title of The Best Defender for locking down the players from the opposing team. Usipbekov Shokan, the coach of the victorious team, was awarded the title of The Best Coach.
Mukhammedjan Imangali, a brilliant performer of the team, was awarded the title of The Best Player.
