Education model

At the core of our education model lies a student and his/her personal needs. The architecture of the model considers an in-depth learning of STEM subjects in English using innovative teaching approaches in the context of value-based education. Students acquire and develop lifelong skills and competencies described in the student profile.

Instructional model

Our education philosophy is built on Robert Marzano’s instructional model. One of the key aspects to cater for whilst delivering the model is continuous instructional coaching of teachers.

Instructional coaches partner with teachers to analyse current reality, set goals, identify and explain teaching strategies to hit the goals, and provide support until the goals are met (Instructional Coaching Group). This support is provided by an experienced colleague who have had relevant training organised by the foundation.

Termly assessment of student achievement

This is a summative assessment conducted every term to evaluate student learning at the end of the term against the expected learning outcomes. The data collected is analysed and its findings are shared internally.

Teacher Capacity Index

  • This is a form of a teacher appraisal comprising pre-determined set of performance criteria, lesson observations, etc.

Regional superintendent system

Responsibilities of regional coordinators include providing educational leadership and executive direction for schools located in the given district. This enables our team to effectively lead the operation of the whole schools network.

Olympiads

Attending olympiads, rigorous academic interscholastic competitions, are widely practised in our schools and serve as a means of supporting gifted and talented students. Teachers act as trainers and provide students with mentoring and support whilst they prepare to participate in regional, national and international competitions. Since the very beginning, our students have ranked among the top performers in a number of olympiads.
