BIL Students Achieve Outstanding Results at International Mathematics Olympiad in Turkmenistan

The inaugural International Mathematical Olympiad, celebrating the 300th anniversary of Makhtumkuli Fraghi, a distinguished philosopher and poet of the East, has concluded in Arkadag, Turkmenistan. The event saw participation from roughly 130 students across 13 nations, including Kazakhstan, Russia, China, Iran, and Tajikistan, among others.

The Kazakhstani delegation, comprising 15 students, secured 4 silver and 6 bronze medals. Among these, students from the BIL schools achieved notable successes:

Silver medals were received by:

  1. Medeu Dzhubatyrov from the “Bilim-Innovation” lyceum in the Mangistau region;
  2. Ayauly Abdullaeva from “Bilim-Innovation” lyceum No. 10 in the Kyzylorda region;
  3. Alikhan Serik from the “Bilim-Innovation” boarding school in Astana;
  4. Nursultan Bekbosyn from the “Bilim-Innovation” boarding school in Astana.

Bronze medalists included:

  1. Altyn Saktaghan from lyceum-boarding school “Bilim-Innovation” No.10;
  2. Erdos Zermukhanbetuly from the boarding school “Bilim-Innovation” No. 9;
  3. Nuradil Shaketov from the boarding school “Bilim-Innovation” No. 9;
  4. Zhantөre Murat from the “Bilim-Innovation” boarding school in Astana;
  5. Amirkhan Kudaibergenov from the “Bilim-Innovation” boarding school in Astana.
