From March 24 to 28, Almaty hosted the final stage of the Republican Olympiad in natural and mathematical subjects, including geography and computer science. The event attracted 295 students from various parts of the country, with 135 emerging as winners. It is noteworthy that students from “Bilim-Innovation” lyceums achieved significant success, securing 6 gold, 12 silver, and 25 bronze medals in computer science, totalling 43 medals. These achievements represented 65% of the total medals awarded.
In geography, participants won 6 gold, 7 silver, and 14 bronze medals, making a total of 27 medals. This accounted for 39% of all medals awarded at the Olympiad.
